Actor files case against husband and in-laws

Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Mandana Karimi has filed a domestic violence case against her husband Gaurav Gupta. She alleges that she has been "tricked out of the matrimonial house" by her husband Gaurav Gupta and her in-laws in less than six months into the marriage. She made a decision to file a case against her husband demanding for Rs 10 lakh for her basic necessities and Rs 2 crore for the trauma and agony that was caused by them.

This time the Iranian beauty has filed a domestic violence case against her husband. She was also asked to quit her acting career, courtesy family status in the society.

She married Gaurav in January 2017, after making his acquaintance in 2012, when she was moving to Mumbai from her native Iran to pursue a career in the movies.

Mandana has also stated that she was locked up as a prisoner in the matrimonial home in Juhu and was not allowed to meet her friends or go out. Mandana Karimi starred in several television commercials with Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan before she appeared in films starting with a cameo in Ranbir's Roy (2015).
